Gestures and Greetings

Greetings are generally done through handshakes with their right hands. Greetings between men and women are more conservative. When greeting someone of the opposite gender, it is rare to greet them with more than a handshake. The woman initiates the greetings with a handshake or by putting their hands in a prayer position. The man receiving the greeting would do the same gesture.
Communication is all about being respectful and presentable to the person. If there are any complaints or issues with a person, they should not be confronted directly but rather impersonally or through a third-party. Face to face communication is more important than communicating digitally or over the phone.
Never point with your index finger as it is considered as disrespectful. If you were to point at something, you would use your thumb. To beckon someone, clench your palm and scratch towards your arm.
Always use your right hand when passing or receiving an object.
